This is hidden by default in a standard browser but is accessible in appropriate scenarios.<\/li>\n<li>Page addresses (URLs) are readable by humans and are permanent wherever possible.<\/li>\n<li>All links and buttons have a keyboard focus indicator which makes them clearly visible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Images<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"bullets\">\n<li>Unless they are just for decoration, all images have alternative text (an \u201calt\u201d attribute) which is shown where images are disabled, or where they are not supported.<\/li>\n<li>Content is accessible and understandable with images disabled, or where they are not supported.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Video<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"bullets\">\n<li>All videos hosted on YouTube have captions (subtitles) if they include spoken words.<span>&nbsp;<\/span>Learn how to activate closed captions on YouTube videos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Forms<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"bullets\">\n<li>All form controls and fields are properly and clearly labelled.<\/li>\n<li>All crucial form fields are checked for errors when the form is submitted.<\/li>\n<li>Any error found is described to the user in text, along with suggestions for how to correct the error.<\/li>\n<li>All forms have a correct focus order so they can be navigated using the Tab key on your keyboard.<\/li>\n<li>All forms can be submitted using the Return \u21b5 or Enter key.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Scripts<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"bullets\">\n<li>We use unobtrusive client-side (on your computer rather than on our server) scripts.<\/li>\n<li>This website is fully accessible with Javascript disabled, or where it is not supported.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Visual design<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"bullets\">\n<li>This website uses cascading style sheets (CSS) for visual design and layout.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Mobile<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"bullets\">\n<li>This website is accessible from smartphones and tablets.<\/li>\n<li>Page layout and content respond to the size of the browser window to make best use of the space available.<\/li>\n<li>Buttons and navigation have a minimum height of 36 pixels for ease of use on touch interfaces.<\/li>\n<li>The menu (navigation) collapses on smaller devices to save screen space.
